Christmas Day Celebration!

Well, our Christmas Day was not how I had planned it to be. What a surprise it was to spend Christmas Eve at the Hospital, because Isaac was born at 2:04 that morning. It was very sweet of my family to call that night and sing me a christmas song on the phone. My husband was at home with Cali and called as well becuase we had missed eachother that night. Right then I new I was blessed with such a wonderful family for support! Christmas day Scotty picked me up with Cali and the four of us went home to celebrate! What a crazy day it was. And I couldn't have spent it better with anyone else, but my growing family, who will always be there for me every day of my life! Cali loved opening her presents and had to play with each one as she saw what it was. It took almost the whole day, but was so much fun!

Isaac Scott Salmon is BORN!

Our little Isaac was born at 2:04am on Christmas Eve morning. He weighed 8 pounds 10 ounces, 20 inches long, and was quite a bigger baby than Cali was. He is a happy and healthy boy and we are all doing well and excited to have him home! Cali first thought he was her baby and the first thing she said when she saw him at the hospital was "mine"! She now just plays with her baby dolls a whole lot as I am taking care of Isaac most of the time. Thanks so much to the Whites for watching Cali as Isaac came into our life!

Ward Christmas Party

Our ward Christmas party turned out very nice and Cali and Boston had a fun time playing all around the church. I would have taken a family picture but Scotty was on call that day, so I just have a couple of the kids.

It's been snowing!

Yes, Michigan's true colors have finally appeared so that the Salmons can fully enjoy Michigan weather. Of course everyone tells us that this month isn't even the coldest! The snow isn't even half as bad as the wind blowing across your face. I hope everyone at home in Arizona are enjoying their winter!

Baby Shower for Isaac!

It was so nice of my friend Katie to put together a baby shower for me and thanks to all me friends that helped, it was soooo much fun and it was too nice of everyone to bring gifts. I am loved so much here in Michigan!

Cali just loves to give kisses to her baby and even Santa! She can be so sweet and I just know she will love her little brother Isaac!

O Christmas Tree!

For family night we all helped decorate our first christmas tree ever. Cali of course was the main decorator of the beads. It was so much fun to watch her and also to have a christmas tree this year!

Thanksgiving

This year with out family has been a bit different and we are sure missing everyone in AZ, however our friends the Souliers have been so kind to invite us over for Thanksgiving! We sure had a blast and the food was sooooo good! I don't know what we would have done with out them. We also had tons of fun playing games after and eating very yummy pies! Thanks Rob and Lolly for having us over and cooking the best meal ever!


The day after Thanksgiving I had put all of Cali's hair in Pigtails for the first time and it turned out pretty good and stayed most of the day, I was so excited. Cali is also showing off her froggy that she loves to play with and says ribbit with it all day long.

My little gymnastics girl!

It was so much fun to see what Cali could do at a gymnastics place at only 20 months old. She absolutely loved it and could not stop running around to all the different stations. Her favorites were getting in the foam squares pit and hanging on the bar!

WINTER FUN!

Cali is learning how much clothes are really needed to go outside these days, whether she likes it or not!

Cali loves her yogurt!

Almost every morning Cali asks for a spoon so she can eat her yogurt on her own. She is learning to do so much on her own, but it sure get's messy!

First time snow!

Cali has never seen snow before and she kept touching it and there wasn't even a whole lot of snow, but it was still exciting for some to fall this winter for the first time. BRRR! it sure was cold outside and I did have to scrape the snow off our car for the first time ever. My nose and ears were starting to get really cold and I was so glad that Cali was in the car, while I was out getting ready to head off for the day. I still can't believe I am in MICHIGAN!

The Best Husband Ever!

Ok, it was so sweet of Scotty to watch Cali on a Saturday night while I went out with my friends for dinner. We went to my favorite, "Pei Wei", for dinner then shopping at the mall and had lot's of fun! All I can say is that I love my husband so much, and was so excited to see him again when I came home!

Trick or Treat?

It was so much more fun this year taking Cali Trick or Treating and I know the fun will just keep on multiplying year after year!
