Owen's birthday party

Cali's friend Owen had his three year old birthday party last week at Heritage park. Cali really enjoyed playing with all her freinds. I say it was a blast to see them all running around the park together.

We are having a blast here in Michigan with the wonderful weather outside, the family time we can share together, and the best friends we could ever ask for!

Happy Birthday MOM!

My Mother turned 52 yesterday and is still so young and fun! She livens up every room she walks in and is a forever friend to everyone she meets! I love her so much!
Here are some things I love about my mom:
1. She speaks only kind words about everyone
2. She will never let you feel unwelcome
3. She can brighten your day with her upbeat attitute
4. When life gets down, she will always think of the bright side.
5. She will love you for eternity and then some!

It's spring here in Michigan and I'm so lovin it!

Cinnamon and what?

One morning I made cinnamon and sugar toast for Cali and Isaac and when Cali took a bite she said, (with a disgusted look on her face), "Mom, this isn't cooked". I then said, "No, I put it in the toaster, it's cooked". She then kept chewing for a bit, and said, "You didn't cook it". I then tasted it, and quickly spit it out. It was so gross! I had used salt instead of sugar. (Poor Cali). I then looked over at Isaac's toast and he had thrown his on the floor.

Somehow, this sweet innocent little boy has turned into this a wild boy who runs around all day destroying everything in our house and grabbing, pushing, hitting, and throwing anything that looks fun! It's all fun and games untill someone gets hurt and you bet there is an incredibly tired mother at the end of each day. And then, you can't ignore the fact that it's all madness while he is smiling and laughing at the same time. Those cute little giggles seem to keep me sane while he has been trying to drink out of the toilet water. All I can say is, 8months more to go before he turns two!

Cali is Three!

Cali: tissue for my nose is running
Mom: ok, but you need to blow as much out as you can
Cali: no, I just wipe
Mom: if you never blow your nose, it will be hard to breath
Cali: I don't want to breath
Mom: If you don't breath, then you will die
Cali: Jesus died
Mom: you're right
Cali: He didn't blow his nose?

Cali's birthday!

Cali's growing up so much! I can't believe she is three years old already. She loves to play with her friends, sing songs, and help me around the house! Cali is so curious, she asks me questions all day long about everything. She also is very good at remembering what I tell her. I love to see her smiling and playing with her brother Isaac, even when he doesn't play nicely. She is my happy little girl!

I love three!

Cali is officially three years old and she is saying the cutest things and is learning so much. This morning she didn't want to listen to something I said, I don't even remember what is was, but I started to sing, "When my mother calls me, quickly I'll obey....". She then said with a smile ok, mommy, I'll do it. Later while we were eating breakfast, Isaac threw his cereal bowl on the floor, and I said, Isaac, "No No". Cali turned to me and said, "Isaac did not obey, like the song". feeding giraffes!
