Scotty and I got to go to the Detroit Michigan Temple this morning! It was about a 40 minute drive there and we actually made it on time. Thanks so much Amy for babysitting Cali. The temple was beautiful and it was about time, for we hadn't been yet since we moved here! I didn't bring my camera so you just get to see pics of the temple.
Here is what I look like so far in my pregnancy, (HUGE)!
These are the few items we picked up at a garage sale for very little! Great bargs I'll say, and Cali loves playing with the kitchen especially!
Trips to the Library here in Canton have been quite fun for Cali to play and have mommy read some books to her. Ofcourse she rather watch the other kids playing than sit and read with mommy for very long. Katie and I went one time and Boston and Cali enjoyed playing.
Washing our cars on a Saturday turned out to be pretty fun for Cali. Ofcourse we did find out later that day that our we aren't supposed to wash our cars anywhere at the apartment complex. Whoops! Atleast we got them cleaned because they were so dirty.
I finally tried to do Cali's hair a different way. Her hair is still a little too short to do a whole lot with.
Fun times at the park and especially with Daddy this time!!!
Today is my niece's Birthday and she is 4 years old! Wow, growing up so fast. We love you Brielle and miss you so very much! Cali says hi and that she misses playing with you. We hope you birthday is wonderful!
Scotty and I wanted to say Happy Birthday to our sister Tiffany who is such a wonderful example to so many people! Here are the top five reasons why we love Tiff!
5. She always has a great suggestion up her sleeve because she is so thoughtful and loves to help out with all she can.
4. She brought the couscous recipes into our lives!
3. When Tiff comes to visit, we know we are going to have fun, fun, fun!
2. She will always find us great buys at garage sales!
1. We know she will bring us a girl cousin for Cali to play with!!!!!!!!!
Here are some pics of Cali and Boston playing at the Mall in Novi. Katie and I had fun shopping and most of all enjoyed watching our kids playing and having a good time!
Katie and I took our little ones who are the same age to the splash park today and although Cali still isn't quite running in the water, she did do better today. She actually ran under the water as it was spraying hard. That was a first for her and then she didn't want to do it again. Boston was pretty good at getting near the water by himself. What fun! I can't wait till she is a little older next year, and I know she will love it even more!
On Friday, Lolly, Sarah, and I went to the Toledo Zoo in Toledo,Ohio. It was a first to enter the state of Ohio, and the zoo was a great one to visit. The car ride was only about an hour and it didn't seem to take as long as I thought it would. Cali had a blast looking at all the monkeys, bears, tigers, and even the different birds and fishes. She would get so excited and scream really loud.
“The greatest battle of life is fought out within the silent chambers of the soul. A victory on the inside of a man’s heart is worth a hundred conquests on the battlefields of life. To be master of yourself is the best guarantee that you will be master of the situation. Know thyself. The crown of character is self-control.” 3
